How does HelloFax work?
No. Everything you need is located on the web.
We support: doc, docx, pdf, tif, tiff, ppsx, ppt, pptx, tif, tiff, jpg, jpeg, png, xls, xlsx, txt, and gif. If you'd like to use a file type that we don't support, you can save the file as a pdf and then uploaded it to hellofax.com. Also, email us at support@hellofax.com; if there's enough demand, we'll start supporting that file type.
Yes. If you have a form that you frequently use to request signatures, you can create a template to streamline the process of updating documents. To create template:
- Click on the "Request signature" tab on the left hand navigation
- Click on the "More" drop down adjacent to the "Upload Files" button
- Click on the "Send" tab on the left hand navigation
- Upload document you want to fax.
- Enter the fax number and hit send.
Yes! If you sign up for the Basic, Premium or Ultimate plans, you can pick a local fax number. Then, when someone faxes you, we will forward it to your email address as a PDF.
We currently support faxing 70+ countries. For a full list, click here. If you'd like us to add support for a country, please let us know.
Only Premium and Ultimate users can send a fax to multiple recipients at once.
If you use our cover page builder we add some text that says, "Powered by HelloFax" to the cover sheet. We also add "HelloFax" on top of each page, next to the sender's fax number. If you send your document as an email, the user will see that the document was sent through HelloFax.
We don't have the ability to port right now, but we're working on it for the future. If you'd like, we can email you when we have that feature available.

Yes, we will remind the user to sign your document 3 days and 7 days after you send it out.
No, the email will come from "HelloFax" and the email it will be sent from is admin@mail.hellofax.com. If someone has not received a signature request, please have them check their spam folder.
The United States, Canada and the Europe have all passed laws, stipulating that electronic signatures are legally binding. See below.

When you integrate the services, the system will automatically setup the folders for you. You don't have to do a thing.
Yes. When you want to upload a document from your cloud storage on the HelloFax site, simply click on the "More" drop down menu next to the "Upload Files" button. From there, select the cloud storage service to find and upload your file.
